Farnborough is perhaps best known as the home of the Farnborough Air Show which takes place once every two years. Farnborough has incorporated several sizeable villages as it has expanded, including Cove and Southwood. The town is located approximately 35 miles from central London with easy accessibility via rail, the M3 motorway and the A30. The areas key strengths include its affluent catchment population, within the prosperous Blackwater Valley and the presence of major companies within and around the town centre.

Farnborough is in the middle of an £80m redevelopment of its Town Centre. The Meads, the new name for the redevelopment encompassing the former Kingsmead and Queensmead shopping areas, will offer a range of entertainment and leisure opportunities for Farnborough residents. A new Sainsbury’s and Travelodge have already opened and the second phase will include new restaurants and a Multiplex Cinema.
